Welcome to the VOICE of Service Users website!
Voice of Service Users is a group which aims to promote service user involvement in local mental health services. We try to be a real VOICE for people who use mental health services in North Lincolnshire. We have developed this website to try and give more people in our area a say in local mental health services. We work with local agencies to give our views on mental health services. Group members are involved in lots of different activities and can attend meetings, take part in training, get involved in staff recruitment and many other things. We have regular meetings with managers of local services, this enables us to contribute our views to the way services are run and also allows us to raise any issues or concerns which group members or other service users have. Members of VOICE have been involved in the design of Great Oaks and also with the development of the North Lincs Mental Health website.
Our meetings are friendly and informal, tea and coffee are provided and membership is free so why not join us to:
- Make new friends and chat to people who know what its like to live with mental health problems.
- Help to improve local mental health services.
- Keep up to date with the latest news in mental health
- Feel valued and build your confidence
- Learn new skills and take part in training
- Meet people from other groups and organisations.
- Take part in projects such as monitoring standards in local services, challenging the stigma associated with mental health problems and planning future developments in local mental health services.
We work together to improve local mental health services and the more people who join us the louder our VOICE will be so why not join us and make your VOICE heard...
